The Devil as a “fledgling”

The great Goethe worked on his immortal Faust for about 60 years. He was convinced that the Devil embodied the world’s evil, destroying the human soul and capable of wiping out all humanity. Yet I am certain that, had he worked for another 160 years, he would have seen how people’s values had changed and understood that the greatest danger in the modern world, leading to global catastrophe, is the very “soul” of the modern “human being,” whose cruelty has no equal on Earth. Compared with him, the Devil is a yellow-beaked fledgling. Believe me, Satan is not to blame for the defective mutation of the human “soul.”

Journalist: For more than 20 years you have warned in your articles of threats from various geopolitical conflicts, and your forecasts come true 100 percent—for example, the currently relevant ones: Ukraine as the trigger of a third world war, the Iran–Israel conflict, the beginning of the redrawing of the world’s geopolitical map and America’s destruction with President Trump’s rise to power (“Merchant–President–Catastrophe,” “Geopolitical Pimp”), the war between church and state in Armenia (“Religion Destroys Faith”)… Why are you not heard? We see global chaos growing; catastrophe is already inevitable. What happens next? What should be done?

A. Khachatryan: I analyze the current geopolitical situation and “see” how it may develop, what it may lead to, and what can be done to change events or soften the blow… I do not read or listen to who says what about it, often after the fact, and people do not hear me. People generally react first to what they can feel materially, touch… I am not offended that my forecasts are not accepted; the danger is that they have already become reality. The world’s chief “merchant” can say: “It will be as I want, or I will bomb; everyone must listen to me”… And this is already an accomplished fact, a precedent for leaders of major powers.

How did we reach this point? The global financial and banking system, which became humanity’s circulatory system, is breaking down; damage like this leads to the death of the entire “organism.” The financial “elite” needs chaos to retain at least some influence and control. International institutions do not work: all of them were “fed” from a single source—the Federal Bank. The human being becomes biomaterial; human life is devalued. At best, if people come to their senses, the nuclear powers will repartition the world, and small states, if they survive, will have to think only about survival and food… I have already discussed all this in detail in my articles and interviews; I do not want to repeat myself.

Journalist: We have heard that a well-known director has become interested in your interpretation of Goethe’s Faust. Briefly, so our readers understand: the Devil came to Armenia, saw what was happening, became afraid the “merchants” would sell hell by the square meter, shut the gates, swallowed the key and, seeing the cross was vacant, asked his father, God, to raise him up on the cross. What lies behind this interpretation of the poem? Please say a few words about it.

A. Khachatryan: This idea arose by chance, as a visualization of a thought… In it, the spiritual collides with our present reality… Imagine: before leaving hell, the Devil announces to the souls living there: “Guys, pack up and go back to your rotten bodies. Under the new rules, we must pay taxes, rent, gas bills… So there will be no fire: the boiler is being switched off, hell is closing.” A worldwide tender will be announced for the boiler; they will seek a new Master… And I think even the most sinful human souls will be barred from entering. If one of our young contemporaries reads this, it will not even strike a chord; they are accustomed to living by such laws. And what will become of Earth if these dark souls, artificial intelligence and “human biomaterial” populate it? Can Life, with spiritual values—love, compassion, faith—survive in such an environment? I doubt it.

Journalist: So who, in your view, is worse—the Devil or the modern “human biomaterial”?

A. Khachatryan: Think for yourselves: the Devil tempted people, offering entertainment, joy, fulfillment of hidden desires… These “creatures,” however, simply bribe; if that fails, they destroy… They would sell even their own mother.

Journalist: Does humanity really have no chance of a future?

A. Khachatryan: Remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah? A Human Being can survive even a great cleansing fire… Perhaps the sprout of New Life can find its way toward the sun on this Earth… Or on another…
